Two Primaries Voter Education Postcard Study
SISTER DISTRICT ACTION NETWORK
TWO PRIMARIES VOTER EDUCATION POSTCARD STUDY
PROGRAM GUIDE
LAST UPDATED: 11/20/19
Sister District Action Network (SDAN) is planning on continuing our exploration of postcarding by sending voter education postcards in the important states of Florida, Georgia, and Minnesota. This study will build on our prior studies by sending postcards to already registered voters to educate them about the fact that there will be two different primaries in their state in 2020, one for President and a later primary for state legislature. We will be sending a voter education/GOTV postcard before each of both primaries to a group of middle-low turnout propensity voters with high Democrat support scores in Florida, Georgia, and Minnesota. We will be sending an additional wave of GOTV postcards to a randomly selected half of voters who receive the first 2 postcards before the general election in November for a subexperiment.
This document provides important information about our Primary Voter Education Postcard study. Please note that for this project, all volunteers are responsible for purchasing their own postcards and stamps, and will also be responsible for bulk shipping their postcards to an in-state partner.
