Volunteer Guidance re: COVID-19

You are here:

The health and safety of our volunteers is a top priority for Sister District. We are monitoring reports on the spread of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19). We will continue to follow the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as this situation evolves.

Virtual events continue to be advised versus in-person events, particularly given the rise of and increased risks associated with the Delta variant.

If you are committed to holding an in-person event:

  1. Follow all CDC and city/county guidance to design and execute your event in a way that ensures the safety of all participants. Please pay close attention to CDC guidelines regarding high-risk individuals. This includes older adults, and those with serious chronic medical conditions, such as heart disease, diabetes, and lung disease.
  2. Have contingency plans in place to make your event virtual should your event cease to conform to CDC and city/county guidance
  3. Monitor CDC and city/county guidance closely and be ready to communicate any instructions and event adjustments to all involved in a timely manner

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to us at Sister District by emailing support@sisterdistrict.com.
