Sister District Fairfield County

Fairfield County CT04

About our team

Sister District Fairfield County is an enthusiastic group of grassroots volunteers  helping  campaigns with postcards, phonebanking, fundraising, canvassing and textbanking. We partner with other local activist groups, do what we can, when we can and make great like minded friends while we're at it. We're always welcoming new volunteers, no activist or electoral experience necessary. Maybe you have a fondness for social media or could invite a few friends to write postcards. Let us know what you enjoy. Every action builds the wave.

If you're ready to take back our democracy, shoot us an email. You'll be glad you did!

In 2019, we helped flip Virginia blue. In 2020 our fundraising, phonebanking, texting, and postcarding drove votes for Democratic state legislative candidates Deb Ciamacca and Jonathan Kassa, which helped elect Biden/Harris!

In 2021, we’ll be supporting special and general election candidates and tackling other opportunities to build power in the states. For now, you can donate to Sister District—every dollar goes towards helping to build progressive power in state legislatures. Just click the donate link to the right. Also, please sign up to volunteer, click the "volunteer" button and you'll be added to our mailing list and looped in to this great group!

We look forward to working with you!

Winter is Coming: On “Off” Cycle Organizing

One of the key items in our Winter Action Guide is around establishing/solidifying leadership roles and structures for 2020. It's early yet, but many of you have hosted or are about to host debrief and planning meetings!
