Sister District Maui

Island of Maui

About our team

This grassroots activist group stemmed from the Women's March Maui group in January 2017. This group's goal is to keep Maui activists aware of actions that can be taken locally for the greater good of our country. We have been supporting mainland state races flipping red seats to blue one by one. Often we organize "get out the vote" postcarding parties. We also attend marches and vigils (e.g. Women's March, March for Science, etc) on Maui. Please join whenever and as often as you can. ✊ If you miss, come to the next one.

Get out the vote campaigns won 14 out of 15 races in 2017. Let's keep it going! We are a no-hassle and no-dues group. This is entirely self-funded by the individuals here who care and are passionate about Progressive agendas. “The GOP is not the enemy. Apathy is.”

As of May 2017, we are supporting the Sister District Project as well. Please check out their page. https://sisterdistrict.com

Heather, Dana, and Linette are the co-captains for Sister District Hawaii 02 (Maui). Thank you for being a part of this!

In 2019, we are supporting Karen Mallard and Cheryl Turpin running for state legislature in Virginia. You can donate directly to them by clicking "Donate to Our Candidates" on the right. To sign up to volunteer, click the "volunteer" button in the righthand column.
