About our team

We never give up—we get creative!

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Sister District San Francisco will not be holding any in-person events until further notice. Click the "Volunteer" button in the upper right-hand column to be added to our email list and receive information on all of our upcoming virtual events.

Sister District San Francisco volunteers work with campaigns to help with fundraising, phonebanking, canvassing, texting, and writing postcards and letters. Sister District Project is all about giving those of us in blue areas like San Francisco a chance to support great candidates for state elections across the United States where our help can make a real difference.

The San Francisco team is one of the largest and most active Sister District chapters. We work hard and we have fun doing it! We have citywide special events, and monthly meetings in our six neighborhood hub groups:

  • Marina / Pacific Heights
  • Glen Park and Beyond
  • Central SF
  • Avenues (Richmond District and Sunset)
  • SoMa / Mission Bay / Potrero Hill
  • Northeast SF

In 2020, Sister District San Francisco is proud to be supporting four amazing women candidates: Felicia French and Coral Evans in Arizona, and Joanna Cattanach and Celina Montoya in Texas. Their wins will be crucial to flipping both state legislative chambers in Arizona and the Texas House!
